Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) in young children is characterised by episodic upper airway obstruction that occurs during sleep. The airway obstruction may be complete or partial. This course will give care workers an in-depth understanding of OSA.

The main learning objectives of the course are as follows:

  2. To be aware of the causes of OSA in young children
  3. To be aware of the symptoms of OSA in young children
  4. To understand diagnosing OSA in young children
  5. To understand the treatment for OSA in young children
